What to know about Kobe, Vanessa Bryant’s 4 daughters

Vanessa Bryant, the mother of four daughters with her late husband Kobe Bryant, is a proud mom.

Vanessa Bryant joined her daughters Capri, Natalia, and Bianka at a Los Angeles Dodgers game on Aug. 25, where Bianka threw the first pitch in the team’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Bryants all wore matching Dodgers jerseys with No. 24 on the back in honor of Kobe Bryant, who was killed in a helicopter crash in 2020.

Also killed in the helicopter crash was the Bryants’ second eldest daughter, 13-year-old Gianna.

Prior to his death, Kobe Bryant spoke about the pride he felt in being the father of daughters.

ESPN reporter Elle Duncan said the NBA legend once high-fived her when she told him she was expecting a girl and told her, “Girls are the best … Just be grateful you’ve been given that gift because girls are amazing.”

On May 1, 2024, what would have been Gianna’s 18th birthday, Vanessa Bryant and Nike released a special edition of Nike Kobe 8 “Mambacita” sneakers to mark the milestone.

Vanessa Bryant — who marked what would have been her 23rd wedding anniversary on April 18, 2024 — was also joined by Natalia Bryant and her two youngest daughters, Bianka and Capri, at a Los Angeles Lakers game in February celebrating a 19-foot bronze statue of Kobe Bryant that was unveiled by the Lakers.

Vanessa Bryant has said previously that her three surviving daughters gave her the strength to move forward after Kobe’s and Gianna’s deaths.

“My girls help me smile through the pain,” she told People magazine in 2021. “They give me strength.”

In January, the businesswoman, philanthropist and former model proudly shared her appreciation for her eldest daughter Natalia Bryant in celebration of her 21st birthday.

“You are what every parent hopes and prays for,” Vanessa Bryant wrote on Instagram. “You are such a beautiful,

strong, smart, loving young woman with the kindest soul and I am so proud to be your mommy!”

While attending the WNBA All-Star Game on July 20, Vanessa Bryant and her daughters shared a sweet moment with basketball star Caitlin Clark while the family sat on the courtside at the game in Phoenix, Arizona.
