The United States men’s basketball team has arrived in Paris for the 2024 Olympics.

Video of LeBron James, Stephen Curry and other members of the star-studded roster arriving at the host city emerged Wednesday:

Getting to Paris ahead of Friday’s Opening Ceremony was important, as James was chosen to be the men’s flag-bearer for the Americans. It was announced Wednesday that tennis star Coco Gauff will be the women’s flag-bearer.

As is almost always the case for the Americans in men’s basketball, anything less than a gold medal would be a disappointment.

Many of the NBA’s biggest names are on a roster that includes James, Curry, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, Anthony Edwards and Anthony Davis, which gives head coach Steve Kerr stars in the frontcourt, backcourt and on the wing.

Perhaps the biggest question mark for the Red, White and Blue entering the Olympics is Durant’s status as he deals with a calf injury.

The Phoenix Suns star missed the five-game exhibition slate, although Joe Vardon of The Athletic reported he is considered day-to-day. Durant himself even said he has “seen progress every day,” per Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.

While Team USA replaced the injured Kawhi Leonard with Derrick White, Kerr told reporters there has been “no thought” of replacing Durant.

The Americans still went 5-0 in their exhibition schedule without their all-time leading Olympics scorer, but it wasn’t always smooth sailing. James bailed them out with a late winner in a one-point victory over South Sudan, and the King closed out the slate by putting the team on his back in the final minutes of a four-point win over Germany.
