PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — A man wanted in the Bahamas for sexual offenses against a minor and child stealing was arrested in East Tennessee, the U.S. Marshals Service said.

USMS, ICE and INTERPOL Washington worked together to capture Angelo McQueen and rescue three children at a Pigeon Forge hotel on July 5, according to USMS.

McQueen, a native and citizen of the Bahamas, came to the United States on March 1, 2024, as a B2 non-immigrant visitor. INTERPOL Washington learned that he was suspected of committing sexual offenses in his native country and abducting his biological daughter and bringing her to the U.S., USMS said.

INTERPOL discovered McQueen was likely in Pigeon Forge. The USMS Smoky Mountain Fugitive Task Force Eastern District of Tennessee, the USMS Missing Child Unit and the ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations arrested McQueen at the hotel he was living at, according to USMS.

All three children, who ranged in age from 4 to 14, were from the Bahamas and are now in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, USMS said.

Officials were not aware two other children were with McQueen until they located him, according to USMS.

INTERPOL officials said McQueen was employed at Dollywood at the time of his arrest. Dollywood officials clarified to WBIR that APDC Cleansing Services, Inc., a third-party staffing service that recruits and hires international workers, was McQueen’s employer.

“APDC was responsible for background identity checks and employment authorization of its employees assigned to Dollywood.  He was assigned to a back-of-house position at Dollywood but was not working at the time of his arrest,” Dollywood officials said.

Dollywood has ended its business relationship with APDC and will separate from any other APDC contract workers assigned to the park effective Aug. 9.

McQueen is in ICE custody, according to USMS.
