Florida State DB Anthony Lytton Jr.: Loses Life in Tragic Car Crash
On Saturday morning, the Florida State football program lost one of its own. Anthony “A.J.” Lytton Jr., a four-star prospect in the class of 2018, committed to Florida State, where he spent two seasons. Lytton appeared as a true freshman in ten games, recording nine tackles and a TFL.
He also registered his first and only career interception in a home loss against the then-undefeated Clemson Tigers. Lytton recorded another 14 tackles in 2019 before leaving Florida State football. Lytton’s best game with FSU came against top-ranked Miami, posting a four-tackle effort. Lytton spent one season with Penn State before re-entering the transfer portal but did not resume his playing career.
