Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat have some things to sort out.

In the meantime, the star small forward will continue to enjoy life and do some side quests in the offseason, just like he does every year.

Butler is quite an active man, and he’s always looking to have some fun when he’s off the clock.

That was evident again on Saturday night, as he won $120K and $80K in two pots playing poker with Ryan Garcia, Neymar, and Ninja (via Wheeler Jaylen).

That’s just the kind of man Jimmy Butler is; he’ll always do him.

He’s reportedly looking to get a two-year, max contract extension with the Heat.

Butler made it loud and clear that he expects this to be the last stop in his career, but that might not be the case.

Pat Riley called him out for his antics at the end of the season, fueling some speculation about their relationship.

Also, the Heat are in a tough financial spot, and signing him to a max contract extension would severely hamper their ability to attract more talent.

On top of that, he’s 35 years old and has a history of injuries, so, on paper, the timing seems perfect for them to explore a trade.

On the other hand, he led the team to two unlikely trips to the NBA Finals since he arrived in South Beach, and aging and injury-prone or not, he’s still one of the best two-way players, leaders, and playoff performers in the game.
