That’s a very interesting comparison. Cutler was known for being somewhat of a gunslinger but he is an athletic quarterback that could make every throw in the book. The difference between the two quarterbacks is that McCarthy doesn’t have the same arm arrogance and recklessness that Cutler has. It’s an important distinction and why comps aren’t always the best tool to use.
