Ange Postecoglou, the former Celtic manager, has been hailed as the perfect fit for Liverpool; yet, his transfer from Tottenham to Anfield has been categorised into one group.

Having won five of the six available domestic titles during his two seasons with Celtic, the Australian is a legend in Glasgow’s east end. He had previously worked at F. Marinos in Yokohama. His debut season in the English Premier League with Tottenham has garnered praise as the team attempts to restore his reputation with fast-paced aggressive play

With Jurgen Klopp departing, Liverpool enters a moment of transition. Arne Slot of Feyenoord is set to take his place, but Alan Hutton, a former Tottenham defender, believes Postecoglou’s style of play is a perfect fit for Anfield. Nevertheless, he does not see this action being taken at this early stage in the former Parkhead manager’s Tottenham endeavor.
“I can tell you this, I think in terms of the way Postecoglou plays football, he would suit a move to Liverpool,” Hutton said to Football Insider.

“I don’t think he’ll leave Tottenham, but we’ve seen what he can do there in a short amount of time.” Ange is content where he is, and Liverpool will have other alternatives.

“He’s working on something, and right now it’s really coming along. They have experienced hiccups, but that is only because of Tottenham’s playing style. Postecoglou, who had an incredible debut season, would aim to improve his team. To be honest, I just don’t see Ange leaving.
