SO SAD: Brendan Rodgers admits four Celtic players will miss the Scottish Cup final due to…..
Celtic’s form leading up to the Scottish Cup final has raised concerns. They have not won a single game since winning the Premiership title away at Tynecastle Park against Hearts.

In addition, they had only won one of their previous five league games. That is hardly the kind of run that Ange Postecoglou would have expected his team to go on before facing Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Hampden Park next month.

There is only one league game remaining, at home against Aberdeen. Hopefully, the Hoops will win that game and get some momentum before the final.

Form is not the only worry for Celtic before the Hampden Park showdown though, fitness is as well. Of course, Cameron Carter-Vickers won’t be available after undergoing surgery. Alistair Johnston has only returned to training recently as well. Aaron Mooy has been dealing with niggles as well. And now, they have another issue.

Sead Haksabanovic had to be subbed within 22 minutes, in the game against Hibernian. It appeared to be a muscular issue and with the final less than two weeks away, it is a cause for worry.

Due to a recent injury, a Celtic player may miss the Scottish Cup final.
Regarding Haksabanovic’s medical condition, Postecoglou stated as published by Glasgow Live:

““I’ll wait and see what the medical staff say but with the cup final only 10 days away and it could be tricky for him.”

Regarding Haksabanovic’s quality, there is no question. He’s been a solid option for Celtic this season even though he hasn’t been a lock to start.

In the Scottish Cup final, Postecoglou is expected to start with the attacking trio of Jota, Kyogo, and Daizen Maeda, assuming everyone is fit. Let’s hope the Hoops win the triple and have the majority of their players available on game day.
