Sadly, the Red Bull Racing F1 Player’s wife has filed for divorce, leaving the child behind.
Following his public and grovelling apology to his wife, Formula One driver Sergio Perez said he was captured on camera dancing with ladies at a “bad party.”
Videos of Red Bull athlete Perez celebrating his triumph at the Monaco Grand Prix last month on what looked to be a yacht have surfaced. During the evening, the 32-year-old is seen dancing while putting his arms around a blonde and going close to a brunette.
He has since admitted “responsibility” for his activities on social media, but he has also stated that he and his partner Carola Martinez are “more united than ever.”
In a message posted on Instagram, he said: ‘I have seen the videos that have been circulating about me and I take responsibility for it.
‘It was a bad party that I didn’t know how to control at the height of the person that I am, but it was just that, a very bad party.
‘People close to me know my values and the type of person that I am.
Perez shares three children with his wife, having recently welcomed baby Emilio to the family. Their youngest son, Sergio, is four, while daughter Carlota is two.
The couple were engaged in August 2017, and officially married in June 2018.
The Mexican claimed his first win of the season in Monte Carlo last month, meanwhile, and was promptly rewarded with a new two-year contract by his team.
Currently, he is third in the drivers’ standings behind Max Verstappen, the defending world champion and his Red Bull team-mate, and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.
