Sad news: Anthony Gordon and the Newcastle United technical director got into a confrontation, which led to his dismissal.
Eddie Howe may be the greatest of the Newcastle owners’ many wise choices, but that doesn’t mean the Saudis were wrong to employ him and that they would be wrong to fire him later. They weren’t drawn into the mediocre game of sportswashing.
