One of the main colleges vying for the services of the linebacker prospect, who made his first visit to the Vols in October, is Tennessee. Tennessee is one of two SEC schools that four-star linebacker Dante McClellan, of McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio, is strongly considering. McClellan revealed his top eight college options on social media on Tuesday.

The leading competitors for the 6-foot-3, 200-pound McClellan included the Vols, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Minnesota, and Rutgers. More than 20 colleges have offered him scholarships, including all eight of the programs that are competing for him.
Tre Mitchell, a senior big for Kentucky, sustained a shoulder injury during a victory over Ole Miss on February 13 and has missed four straight games since.

Could he play against Arkansas on Saturday?

John Calipari, the head coach of the UK, claims he’s getting closer.

Still, practice will tell. The fact that he provides you with another 3-point shooter is what we find so great about him. We’ll have to see because Tre took this time off and was 37–38%.
