The star of the New York Yankees, who suffered a toe injury last season when he collided with the right-field fence at Dodger Stadium and missed 42 games, stated he will need to take care of his injury for the remainder of his career.

His toe suffered a ruptured ligament as a result of the play. As a result, he missed 42 games and didn’t make his lineup comeback until July 28. In 106 games last season, he hit.262 with 37 home runs and 75 RBI, including his 250th career home run, which marked him the league’s fastest player to reach that milestone.

But the Yankees ended with their poorest record since 1992—82-80—and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
