Jared Smith, an edge rusher from Thompson High School, is one of the nation’s most highly anticipated talents. The Tennessee Volunteers are among the big institutions interested in the Alabama native, who currently has 18 offers.
Since 2022, he has made four trips to Knoxville and has grown close to the coaching staff. The 247Sports Composite Rankings place Smith as the 29th best prospect in the 2025 class.
He scheduled four official trips for this summer, which will be very important in assisting him in making his college football decision.
Smith discussed his interest in each institution with On3’s Chad Simmons after getting confirmation of his trip schedule.
