This summer, the Georgia Bulldogs have lost a number of coaches, and it appears like the list will only get longer. According to sources who spoke with Dawgs Daily, Bulldogs running backs coach Dell McGee is attempting to seal a deal to take over as Georgia State Panthers’ next head coach.
The last interview with McGee is scheduled on Thursday morning. This would be McGee’s first position as a collegiate head coach. McGee played running back for the Bulldogs for nine seasons and was one of the few surviving members of Kirby Smart’s original coaching staff.
