LeBron James (left ankle peroneal tendinopathy) and Christian Wood (left knee effusion) will not play against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, the Los Angeles Lakers announced.

Lakers fans erupt as Christian Wood is set to join LeBron James

Furthermore, Max Christie and Cam Reddish both have doubtful right ankle sprains, but Anthony Davis (bilateral Achilles tendinopathy) is likely. Both Jarred Vanderbilt (right midfoot strain) and Gabe Vincent (left knee surgery) are still sidelined due to their individual injuries

Ever since it was made public that LeBron underwent treatment for his ankle during the break, there has been uncertainty about his availability for the game. Though he played the fewest minutes of any starter and even acknowledged that he wasn’t sure whether he would play on Thursday night—which is now proved to be the case—James did nevertheless suit up for the All-Star Game.

Despite experiencing hip and groin pain in recent weeks, Davis appears to have a greater chance of playing. LeBron missed the last game before All-Star Weekend, but Davis was ready and ready to go before traveling to Indianapolis. He will be a huge asset on the court, especially if his co-star is unable to make it.
