Clemson Tigers wide receiver Mike Williams was the subject of a scary moment Saturday at Memorial Stadium as he collided with the base of the goal post and was subsequently transported to the hospital with a neck injury, according to the team’s official Twitter account.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said Williams’ MRI revealed a “small fracture in his neck area” but the “prognosis is great for him,” according to Dan Hope of OrangeandWhite.com.
“He’ll have an opportunity to play again. Whenever that is I have no idea,” said Swinney, per Jared Shanker of ESPN.com.
