Today, Wolves found out that striker Sasa Kalajdzic will be out for an extended period of time due to an ACL injury.
The 26-year-old was playing SC Freiburg in his sixth loan game at Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, and there were alarming moments when the player fell down without any contact. The player grabbed his knee right away.
Fans have been expecting for good news on the star since he withdrew after just 11 minutes of play.
Unfortunately, Eintracht has confirmed the worst-case scenario today. Many of Kalajdzic’s supporters are devastated by the news that he has sustained his third ACL injury in his career.
“Sasa Kalajdzic will be out indefinitely due to a rupture of the cruciate and lateral ligaments in his right knee sustained during Sunday’s away game against SC Freiburg,” stated an official statement. Eintracht Frankfurt hopes Kalajdzic gets well and back to normal soon.
Due to two prior knee injuries that sidelined him for ten and twelve months, respectively, Kalajdzic is almost guaranteed to miss another lengthy period of time.
Regretfully, this indicates that Kalajdzic’s professional future is now seriously threatened.
