QB Daniel Jones recently signed a new contract, but it could be time to let him go.

Could Giants trade Daniel Jones this offseason? | Yardbarker

After guiding the team to the playoffs, quarterback Daniel Jones of the New York Giants was awarded a $160 million contract during the offseason. After multiple injuries to key players, including Jones, who only played six games this season due to his second neck injury in three years and a torn ACL, Jones and the Giants went 6-11 the following season. This has many wondering if Jones’s running ability, which was such an important aspect of his game, will be compromised going forward.

A new quarterback is desperately needed in Giants country due to Jones’s lack of consistency. Many believe that head coach Brian Daboll, who is already under fire as he enters Year 3, will not only get a reprieve since he would be tasked with developing a new quarterback, but he would also solidify his position by ensuring that the quarterback is someone he personally selected rather than someone he inherited.
