Scott left Reading in 2018 to join Birmingham City. She went on to play 112 games in all competitions for the Blues, scoring three goals in those games.

In her debut season with Birmingham City, the defender helped the team place fourth in the Barclays Women’s Super League. The previous season, she came dangerously close to winning promotion back to the top division with the Blues. Scott took over as captain of Birmingham City during her tenure there as well.

Scott has chosen to work for the NHS after graduating from Keele University, where she was studying medicine.

Scott stated, “For now, it’s time for me to take a step back from football and decompress,” following the news of her departure from the Blues. I am excited to begin serving my patients as a doctor in the National Health Service (NHS).

“I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has helped me during the past five years.”

This summer, Scott is the fifth player to depart from Birmingham City.
