The Los Angeles Lakers and Lauri Markkanen of the Utah Jazz will square off on Wednesday night in Salt Lake City.
Anthony Davis, the 2020 NBA Champion, is classified on the injury report as questionable for the game.
“Anthony Davis (Achilles, hip) questionable Wednesday,” according to Underdog NBA.
With 51 games under his belt, Davis has averaged 24.6 points, 12.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game. He also shoots 28.1% from three-point range and 55.4% from the field.
With a 29-26 record after 55 games, the Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference.
They are currently enjoying a two-game winning run and have gone 7-3 in their previous ten games.
The Lakers most recently defeated the Detroit Pistons, 125-111.
During his 28 minutes of action, Davis finished with 20 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, 6 blocks, and a 6/12 field goal and a 1/3 three-point shot percentage.
The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for February 22 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, where they will host Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors following their match against the Jazz.
