The Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker was in apparent pain leaving the field.

Pittsburgh Inside linebacker Cole Holcomb of the Pittsburgh Steelers was the second player to get hurt in Week 9 versus the Tennessee

Titans. After a hit on wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, Holcomb lay on the ground seemingly hurting his knee.As soon as he struck the ground, Holcomb grasped his knee and was obviously in pain. The cart emerged to help him to the locker room after only a few minutes of assessing him on the field. Teammates gathered around him to offer their support as he was hoisted upright.

He recorded two tackles in the first quarter before leaving.

 

The Steelers will start Kwon Alexander and Elandon Roberts at inside linebacker in Holcomb’s absence. Pittsburgh can also use Mark Robinson, who hasn’t played many defensive snaps this year.

The Steelers will keep you informed about Holcomb’s injury as long as the team releases new details. It is not expected that he will be back in the game as of yet.
