There are still greater performances out there than us, even though I believe we have been putting up better ones. It will not be simple. The 49ers boast a strong pass rush, linebackers that cover ground, and a secondary that can catch the ball. Leading the NFL in passes defensed with 23, cornerback Charvarius Ward also had five interceptions. Linebacker Fred Warner had 11 passes defensed and four interceptions. Love had the cliched “ice in his veins” of a fiery quarterback. He wasn’t concerned at all by the Cowboys, and he won’t be against the 49ers, most likely.
