In 1969, they played a rollicking rendition of Heartbreaker that’s said to have reached 130 decibels. 130 dB is the equivalent of standing right behind a Boeing 747 jet engine fired up, and is enough to cause immediate hearing damage. Robert Plant, the iconic lead singer of Led Zeppelin, has two well-known children from his early years: his daughter Carmen Jane Plant, born in 1968, who became a professional dancer specializing in Middle Eastern belly dancing, and his son Karac Pendragon Plant, born in 1972. Tragically, Karac died at the age of five in 1977 from a stomach virus, a loss that deeply affected Plant and influenced his work with Led Zeppelin during that period.
