Football is a way of life in America, and the men and gridiron demigods who enter the arena have salaries to match.
The median NFL player was earning $860,000, for the 2019 – 2020 season — and Aaron Rodgers just signed a massive 3-year deal with the Packers for $150 million, claiming the top spot as the league’s highest paid player.
So, with all this money coming in, who cares if Odell Beckham Jr. has special diamond-encrusted cleats that cost him $200,000. Or that Antonio Brown’s Steelers-themed Rolls Royce probably cost him at least $500,000.
It’s hard to envision that much money going up in smoke. Unfortunately, for the iconic players on our list today, it may as well have.
