REPORT: Wolverines head coach have terminated his contract $90 million due to…

Jim Harbaugh favored to bolt Michigan for NFL - National Football Post

According to a new report from Chris Balas of The Wolverine, the Michigan football program could receive the notice of allegations related to the “signgate” scandal soon. It could be this week.

Fans of the Michigan Wolverines have been waiting for this to happen, along with fans of Ohio State Buckeyes who seem to be holding their breath for vacated wins.

There is zero evidence of that happening. However, the NCAA is going to NCAA and it sounds like there could be a push to try and impose a postseason ban on the Michigan football program in the future.

Frankly, that would be insane. The NCAA has gotten away from postseason bans for punishment and Tennessee is a great example of what can happen if you fight, which Michigan football needs to do. The problem is that the University of Michigan doesn’t usually fight in these instances.

They backed down when it came to Jim Harbaugh going to court and the administration cannot allow the NCAA to impose a postseason ban without taking this to court.

First, I’ll be waiting to see what evidence the NCAA has against Connor Stalions and the rest of the Michigan football coaching staff, because if there isn’t that much evidence, which is what Michigan people believe, this could and should be a fight.

It’s too bad that you can’t expect fairness from the NCAA, which has selectively prosecuted Michigan football over “burger gate” while looking the other way on far worse rule-breaking at other programs.

We’ll see what happens, but stay tuned.

In some positive news for the Michigan Wolverines, four-star offensive tackle Gregory Patrick out of Portage, Michigan included U-M in his top nine list released on Monday. Notre Dame, Michigan State, Nebraska, Alabama, Penn State, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Minnesota also made it.

Patrick is 6-foot-4, 275 pounds and is ranked No. 155 overall in the 247 sports composite rankings for the 2026 class. He also visited for the Michigan football recruiting BBQ over the weekend and even though there is a top nine, Michigan feels like the early leader.
