Los Gatos, CA – In a shocking move, Netflix has announced that it has acquired the rights to reproduce the story of legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses, with a completely new cast. The streaming giant has confirmed that it has obtained all necessary permissions and approvals from the band members and their management team.
“We are happy to announce that we have been given all the necessary rights to reproduce the story of Guns N’ Roses,” said a Netflix spokesperson. “We believe that this iconic band’s story deserves to be told in a new and exciting way, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring it to life with a fresh cast.”
The new production, which is currently in development, will follow the rise of Guns N’ Roses from their early days on the Sunset Strip to their eventual superstardom. The story will delve into the band’s struggles, triumphs, and excesses, as well as the personal demons and conflicts that threatened to tear them apart.
While the original members of Guns N’ Roses, including Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan, will not be reprising their roles, the new cast is expected to bring a new level of energy and authenticity to the story.
“We are excited to see our story told in a new and innovative way,” said Slash, the band’s legendary guitarist. “We have every confidence that Netflix will do justice to our legacy and bring our story to life in a way that will inspire and entertain a whole new generation of fans.”
The production is expected to begin filming later this year, with a release date slated for 2026. Fans of Guns N’ Roses can expect a wild and unforgettable ride as Netflix brings the band’s epic story to life in a whole new way.
