JJ McCarthy, the departing quarterback for Michigan, has declared his engagement.
He just defeated Michael Penix Jr. of the Huskies in the national championship game.

After the Michigan Wolverines defeated Washington in the national championship game earlier this month, departing quarterback JJ McCarthy revealed his engagement to fiancée Katy Kuropas.

The couple posted pictures of themselves strolling barefoot on the beach with a golden retriever puppy on Instagram to announce the news.
“You, Marley, and I” Longtime lover of McCarthy, Katya Kuropas, wrote, “Forever & Ever.”
Since their time in the Chicago suburbs throughout high school, the couple has been dating.
Kuropas originally gained notoriety during a contentious incident in which her future father-in-law, Jim, was observed rubbing his hand across her posterior during Michigan’s 2022 Fiesta Bowl defeat by TCU.
