Dear Friends and Fans,
As I sit down to write this message, my heart is heavy yet filled with gratitude and reflection. After much thought and consideration, I have decided to step away from my role with the team and take a break from competitive pickleball. This decision hasn’t come easily, but I believe it is the right step for me at this time.
Being part of this incredible team has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Each tournament, every practice session, and all the moments in between have shaped me not just as a player, but as a person. From unforgettable victories to the challenges we faced, we shared a bond that goes beyond the court. It is hard to say goodbye to such an amazing group of individuals, and I will cherish our memories forever.
Pickleball has taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, teamwork, and the importance of community. I am beyond grateful for the support of my teammates, coaches, and all the fans who have stood by me through thick and thin. Your encouragement and belief in me pushed me to give my best, and I will always remember the roaring cheers and kind words that motivated me during tough matches.
However, as much as I love the game, I have come to realize that I need some time for myself. Whether it’s to recharge, explore new hobbies, or focus on other personal pursuits, I believe a change is necessary. I want to ensure that when I do return, I am not just physically present but fully mentally and emotionally committed to the sport and to my team.
To my friends and fellow players, thank you for the laughter, the shared experiences, and the lessons learned both on and off the court. I will miss our practices, our late-night strategy sessions, and those moments of pure joy when we achieved something great together. I hope you continue to push each other to new heights, and I am excited to see how the team evolves and thrives in the future.
To my fans, your unwavering support has meant the world to me. Thank you for believing in me, for cheering me on, and for sharing this journey. I will carry your encouragement with me as I embark on this new chapter.
This isn’t a goodbye, but rather a “see you later.” I look forward to the day when our paths cross again, and until then, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Keep swinging for the stars!
