After being sacked by Raiders’ Maxx Crosby in the second quarter, Jones took a while to stand up. He was still in the game, but on the following play, he went down unharmed and hobbled over to the sidelines. Jones was absent from the second half.
After sustaining a neck injury during New York’s Week 5 loss to the Miami Dolphins, Jones played in his first game back on Sunday.

When questioned on Monday about if Taylor’s injury also ends the season, Daboll was unable to respond.

New York’s QB choices
The Giants added quarterback Matt Barkley to the practice squad last week since Taylor was placed on injured reserve and would not be able to return until at least after the bye week. However, he was not added to the active roster for the game on Sunday. Tommy DeVito was left as the only backup choice. He threw two interceptions, and after Jones left the game, the offense was unable to muster any momentum. Regarding the position group’s immediate future, Daboll stated he will meet with general manager Joe Schoen to talk about the options.
