Tim Tebow, a legend from the University of Florida, will get recognition at Saturday’s game versus FSU as part of his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

The annual Florida-Florida State rivalry game is anticipated to live up to the decades-long hype surrounding it, as the Seminoles are currently ranked as the fifth best team in the country and the Gators will be vying to advance to the bowl while trying to eliminate FSU from the College Football Playoff picture.

Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will host more events on Saturday night than just the Sunshine Showdown. Tim Tebow, a former Florida star and possibly the best collegiate quarterback of all time, will receive recognition for being inducted into the collegiate Football Hall of Fame.

Tim Tebow made a modest debut as a freshman, filling in as former UF quarterback Chris Leak’s backup, but the real Tim Tebow story started when he assumed the full-time position. In addition to winning two National Championships with the Gators, Tebow won the 2007 Heisman Trophy, which is given to the finest player in college football.

Before the ceremony and game against the ‘Noles this coming weekend, Tebow shared a message with Gator Nation.
