In a significant boost for Indiana University’s basketball program, Class of 2026 standout Sammy Jackson has announced his commitment to the Hoosiers. The 6-foot-7, 185-pound wing from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia is a four-star recruit, ranked No. 94 nationally according to the 247Sports Composite .

Jackson’s decision comes after narrowing his choices to four schools: Indiana, Texas, VCU, and St. Joe’s. He plans to make his official announcement on June 25, following visits to Indiana on June 13-14 and Texas on June 16-17 .

During his junior year, Jackson averaged 13.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, leading Roman Catholic to the PIAA 6A championship game. He also made 51 three-pointers that season .
