Purdue sophomore guard Myles Colvin has announced his transfer to Wake Forest University, marking a significant shift in his collegiate basketball journey. The 6-foot-5 Indianapolis native, a former four-star recruit from Heritage Christian School, spent two seasons with the Boilermakers before entering the NCAA transfer portal in late March 2025.

A Legacy at Purdue

Colvin’s tenure at Purdue was notable not just for his on-court contributions but also for his family legacy. His father, Rosevelt Colvin, was a standout linebacker for Purdue football before a successful NFL career, and his sister, Raven, played volleyball for the Boilermakers. During his sophomore season, Myles appeared in all 36 games, starting eight, and averaged 5.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. He demonstrated his shooting prowess by converting 41 three-pointers at a 31.3% clip.

One of Colvin’s standout performances came in the championship game of the Rady Children’s Invitational, where he scored a career-high 20 points, including a game-winning putback with 0.5 seconds remaining to secure an 80–78 victory over No. 23-ranked Ole Miss.

After Purdue’s Sweet 16 exit in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, Colvin sought a new opportunity to expand his role on the court.
