50 years ago today (March 31st, 1975), Jacques Plante played his last pro hockey game. Playing for the Edmonton Oilers in the WHA, he and Ken Brown both tended the Oilers net in a 5-2 loss to the San Diego Mariners. Plante went 15-14-1 that season, with a 3.32 GAA and .890 sv%.
