An Open Letter from Ken Roczen to Quinn Ewers, Fans, and the Entire Motocross Community
Dear Quinn, Fans, and the Motocross Community,
I want to take a moment to address you all, especially to the young riders out there, the fans who support us every step of the way, and of course, to my fellow competitors in the motocross world.
First, to Quinn Ewers: I’ve watched your rise in this sport with a great deal of admiration. As a young talent, you’ve shown immense potential and dedication, both on and off the bike. You’re a testament to the hard work it takes to succeed in motocross, and your journey serves as inspiration to so many. I remember when I was in your shoes—coming up with the same ambition, the same hunger to win—and the path isn’t always easy. The sacrifices, the ups and downs, and the grind—it all shapes you into the rider and the person you’ll become. Trust me when I say this: Stay focused, stay patient, and keep believing in yourself. The best is yet to come, and I’m excited to see you push this sport to new heights.
To the fans: You are the heart and soul of motocross. Your unwavering support keeps us motivated through the tough days, through the injuries, through the setbacks. You cheer us on when we’re flying high and rally behind us when we’re down. Whether you’re at the track or watching from home, you create an energy that’s unmatched, and for that, I thank you. Motocross is a family, and we couldn’t do this without you. It’s your passion, your loyalty, and your love for this sport that makes it what it is. Keep it alive. Keep it loud. We feel it every time we hit the dirt.
And to the entire motocross community: This sport has given me everything—my career, my purpose, and countless unforgettable moments. It has been a journey of triumphs and challenges, of pushing limits and learning lessons. We are a unique community, bound by a shared love for speed, competition, and the raw thrill of riding. From the mechanics to the sponsors, to the riders and our families, each one of us plays a vital role in keeping this sport alive and pushing it forward. Let’s continue to show respect, kindness, and sportsmanship, as that’s what keeps the spirit of motocross thriving.
In closing, I want to say thank you—thank you to Quinn, thank you to the fans, and thank you to everyone in the motocross family. Let’s keep the wheels turning, the throttle wide open, and the passion burning bright. We have a long way to go, and together, we can take this sport to new heights.
Sincerely,
Ken Roczen
